Community Guidelines
Smunicent communities are intended to be respectful, helpful, privacy-aware spaces for local connection and support. These guidelines apply to the website and to Smunicent-linked WhatsApp city groups. Last updated July 19, 2026.
Be respectful
Treat members with dignity. Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, shame, bully, or target people because of identity, background, belief, nationality, gender, age, disability, or personal circumstance.
No hate or abuse
Hate speech, dehumanizing language, sexual harassment, exploitation, threats, encouragement of violence, doxxing, impersonation, fraud, scams, spam, pyramid schemes, deceptive investments, malware, and malicious links are not allowed.
Protect privacy
Do not share private phone numbers, addresses, documents, photos, screenshots, immigration details, financial details, or sensitive personal information without permission.
Keep it local and useful
City groups are for practical local connection, questions, referrals, housing leads, jobs, events, recommendations, and community support connected to that city.
Verify before you trust
Member information is unverified by default. Members should independently verify jobs, housing, services, events, payments, and business offers.
